Total Triage maintains licensure in many areas spanning the United States. Our telephone triage nurses are qualified and licensed to give medical advice in the state the patient resides. We ensure each nurse stays current on licensure and continuing education units (CEUs) for every state they serve. Registered Nurse Position

Summary: We are currently looking for talented and bright RN’s who possess a solid background in clinical nursing skills, technological competence, ability to multitask and think critically while speaking on the phone with hospice patients, facilities and/or their families.  Our RN team members must have at least one year of clinical experience (preferably home health or hospice, but will consider other clinical experience).  A compact state nursing license is required, with a CA state license and other state license being helpful. Our team of nurses work 20+ hours weekly (ability to sign up for 20-32 hours weekly), primarily weekends/evenings and some holidays.  Of the 20 minimum hours weekly, 10 of those must be on the weekend. Excellent shift flexibility, offering shifts as short as 2 hours or as long as 12 hours. Our nurses enjoy working from their own home office and do provide their own computers, high speed internet and phone line.  A quiet work space that is free from family or external noises is a must. Training is provided and paid. No hands on care or travel is required. All nurses enjoy the benefits of working from home, providing care, without the stress and expense of commuting each day or cost of “going to work”. Nurses will accumulate Paid Time Off and be reimbursed for the cost of required state license. Requirements: Must have RN license in compact state (in good standing), additional state licenses are a plus (CA license is an added bonus) 1+ years of clinical nursing experience required 1+ years of hospice care experience preferred Fluent in English required, Spanish preferred Must be available work a total of 40 weekend hours monthly Must be able to work 16+ hours weekly (minimum 10 of those hours on weekend) Must be available to work some hours each holiday Able to handle stress (phone calls come in quickly and must each be handled appropriately) Able to be kind and gracious to patient care givers in stressful situations High level of comfort using technology to access patient/client information remotely Able to pass drug screen and background check Compensation: $21.00-$23.00 per hour depending upon licensing and experience (weekend differential pay – additional $1.00 – $2.50/hour) If interested in discussing this opportunity further, please send your CV/resume with your response to this posting. Job Type: Part-time Salary: $21.00 – $23.00/hour (additional weekend differential $1.00 -$2.50/hour) Required education: Nursing degree
