Webinar: Employer Scrutiny & Screening for Providers
March 2, 2016 - March 2, 2016 | Online
In May 2013, the Office of Inspector General (OIG) provided us with guidelines regarding how hospice, home health, and personal care agencies must handle the mandatory exclusion screening procedures for Medicare and Medicaid. These guidelines have changed the screening from a simple, once yearly check to a more in-depth monthly screening that includes a mandatory check of all employees, contractors, and vendors. 2015 marked an intensification of these screenings, and the OIG is actively looking for violations.
